A WITCH doctor known as “The Devil of Wednesday” has claimed credit for hexing soccer superstar Cristiano Ronaldo ahead of the World Cup.
According to sports news site Sportive23, the influential witch doctor from Ghana threatened to derail the Portugual player’s World Cup campaign back in December 2013:

Since then the Portugal team has been placed in the so-called Group of Death along with Ghana, Germany and the US.
On Wednesday, the Portuguese football association also announced that Ronaldo was suffering from tendinosis in this left knee, as well as a muscle problem in his left thigh.
“I said it four months ago that I will work on Cristiano Ronaldo seriously and rule him out of the World up or at least prevent him from playing against Ghana and the best thing I can do is to keep him out though injury.
Ghana is due to face Portugal in its final Group G match on June 26 but first, it will play the US in both teams’ tournament opener on June 16.
