Queens Club Venue Information
Londons premier lead up tennis tournament to Wimbledon. Established in 1886, and home of the Aegon Tennis Tournament, the Queen’s Club was the first multi-purpose sports complex ever to be built, anywhere in the world.
The Club offers its Members the opportunity to play Lawn Tennis, Real Tennis, Rackets and Squash and purchase tickets to watch some of the finest tennis players in the world. The Club returned to Members ownership in May 2007 following a successful acquisition of a 120 year lease from the Lawn Tennis Association.
The Queen’s Club has over 18 Club teams representing the Club in local, regional and national tennis competitions.
The Club has been investing in its future and over the past five years completed projects include a new gymnasium, resurfacing of four artificial grass courts, refurbished Ladies Dressing Room, reinstatement of the Rackets Galleries and viewing areas, a new Terrace Room and the junior lawn tennis club to name just a few.
Members and residents of The Queen’s Club enjoy an unrivalled choice of tennis court surfaces on which to play. The Club boasts 27 outdoor Lawn Tennis Courts, of which 12 are arguably the finest grass courts in the world along with 6 shale courts, 5 plexi courts and 4 artificial grass courts.
There are a further 10 indoor Tennis Courts and during the months from October through to end March each year there is an additional winter bubble housing 2 shade indoor courts.

Due to the limited number of parking facilities, we strongly advise guests to use public transport.
By Road: The Queen’s Club is easily reached by road from the M3, M4, M40 and A40
Parking: On site car parking is available for Members, although it is not guaranteed.
By Tube
The Queen’s Club is located in West London, a 4-minute walk from Baron’s Court Underground station (Picadilly and District Lines) and a 7-10-minute walk from West Kensington Underground station (District Line).
By Bus
Local bus routes are 9, 10, 27, 28, 74, 190, 295 and 391.
