The football analyst and scout for Talent, the Spaniard Vicente Corral, has been awarded the “Gold Star of Professional Excellence,” an award granted by the Institute for Professional Excellence (IEP).
This award, certified by the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Tourism and the Community of Madrid, is granted to institutions and professionals in recognition of their work, professional prestige, and commitment to excellence, in this case in the football sector.
The Westin Palace Hotel in Madrid hosted the gala dinner, which was chaired by Ignacio de Jacob Gómez, Count of Pozos Dulces, president and founder of the IEP.
“Receiving this award is really an honour and encourages me to continue my work in favour of football and athletes who, day by day, strive to fulfil their dream,” said the Spaniard, who recently signed with the Real Valladolid, club for which he works in attracting players for his international program.
Vicente Corral stands out at the national level, for his work as an analyst and scout for talent in the world of football. Most notable is that he is the founder and director of the International F.C. project, a project dedicated to the integration of immigrants in Spain through football. In addition, he’s noted for his collaborations and participation in significant sports media such as Diario Marca, BBC Sport, or Goal.com, among others.
Vicente Corral is recognised in the world of Spanish Football for being a reference regarding up and coming football talent, for example, James Rodríguez and Martin Samuelsen, to name only two. Further, he has been recognised for his work and collaborations as a Scout and Football Analyst in many clubs and media, like Marca, Goal, and many more. It is no secret that Vicente has a vast network of contacts in the world of European Football.
A football professional with a vision of the future, Corral has specialised in the identification, management, and development of the talent of young footballers after having acquired experience through collaborations with clubs in Spain, learning firsthand the fundamental needs of the modern game.
Vicente Corral is also the founder of FC International, created for the integration of foreign soccer players in Spanish and European Football.
