We know it’s been a bit of a rough rollercoaster ride for Sunderland fans over the last year or two. So, the fact they have scored more own goals than any other Premier League team since the start of last season isn’t all that surprising.
HOWEVER, they have scored 10 own goals in that time – considerably more than any other side (Liverpool are second on seven). And 10 goals is more than any Sunderland player has scored at the right end in that time:
